Féile Solas takes place in the scenic surrounds of Whiddy Island in Bantry Bay.

Whiddy Island is just a beautiful 20 minute ferry ride from Bantry, West Cork. The start of your adventure from the mainland.

Ferries are available from Bantry pier (schedule provided) and there will be additional special festival ferry services provided across the weekend. 

Bus services will be available from Cork to Bantry on Friday evening and returning from Bantry to Cork on Sunday evening.

There is a full bar at the festival open early till late with the cheapest festival pints you will every drink. 

A limited amount of alcohol can be brought by each ticket holder.

Food is provided by Niamh’s larder, delicious and nourishing noms at your disposal throughout the weekend.

All tickets are weekend general camping.

Féile Solas is a strictly 18 and over festival.

Phone charging stations are available onsite but will be limited. Attendees are encouraged to have phones fully charged on arrival and to bring battery packs if possible.

Toilets and showers are available onsite in the main community building.

Full program of music, workshops and craic through the weekend. Starting Friday at 5pm till late, Saturday throughout the day/night and Sunday till 7pm. For the bravehearted there is an option to stay Sunday night, the official program will be finished but the pints will still flow and some co-created craic will continue.
